Set for release in May, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness follows Benedict Cumberbatch’s character in alternate realities,

After Benedict Cumberbatch starred in Spider-Man: No Way Home alongside Tom Holland, expectations rose for the star’s solo movie.

The film promises the meeting of Marvel’s greatest heroes and introduces more of the famous Multiverse explored by the MCU in Loki (2021) and the Spider-Man trilogy.

And as the title of the film says, the film promises to be an incredible journey through the Multiverse!

In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, after defeating Dormammu and facing Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, the Sorcerer Supreme, Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), and his partner Wong (Benedict Wong) continue their research into the Time Stone.

But an old friend turned enemy ends their plans and causes Strange to unleash unspeakable evil, forcing him to face a potent new threat.

The film connects with the Disney+ WandaVision series and is also related to Loki. The movie belongs to MCU’s phase 4, where the reality of the universe may collapse because of the same spell that brought the SpiderMan’s villains into the world of the Avengers.

The Sorcerer Supreme will need to enlist the help of Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen), who has been living in isolation since the events of WandaVision.
