The Nightmare Before Christmas is a stop-motion movie about the Halloween town's pumpkin king, Jack Skellington, who becomes bored with the same Halloween celebrations happening every year.
Jack finds Christmastown and decides he wants to take over Christmas. So he kidnaps Santa Claus and dresses himself up as Santa to deliver presents to kids on Christmas Eve. The kids of Christmastown aren't fooled, though, and they don't like the creepy gifts that Jack gives them.
In the end, Jack learns that it's better to stick to what you're good at, and he goes back to being the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town. The movie is dark and twisted but also super funny and full of holiday cheer.
