Blog Title: How to Survive the Holiday Season as a Star Wars Fan

The holidays are a joyous time of year. A time to be with family, reflect on the past year and celebrate everything we’re thankful for.

But if you’re a Star Wars fan, it can also be a stressful time. So here are some survival tips for getting through the holiday season unscathed.

1. Don’t Bring Up Episode I – We all know Episode I was disappointing, to put it lightly. But that doesn’t mean you should bring it up at holiday gatherings. Instead, just let sleeping dogs lie and enjoy the company of your fellow Star Wars fans.

2. Plan Your Viewing Schedule – There’s nothing worse than finding time to watch all the Star Wars movies (or shows or animated series) during the holiday season.

With family in town and holiday parties to attend, it can be tough to find time to fit them all in. So plan ahead and make a schedule to maximize your viewing pleasure.

3. Avoid Spoilers at All Costs – This one should be obvious, but it’s not always easy. Whether it’s well-meaning family members or friends who just couldn’t help themselves, spoilers abound during the holidays.

Be vigilant and steer clear of social media and other potential sources of spoilage until you’ve had a chance to watch whatever everyone is talking about.

4. Be Prepared for Questions – If you’re anything like me, you probably get asked many questions about Star Wars during the holiday season.

And while I love talking about my favorite movie franchise, sometimes I get tired of answering the same questions over and over again.

So this year, I’m prepared with a list of go-to responses that should satisfy even the most curious relations.
