Stranger Things is among fans' most beloved and acclaimed Netflix original series. No wonder the fourth season is one of the most anticipated events in pop culture in 2022.
Stranger Things 4 was announced on September 30, 2019. Netflix did not reveal the premiere date until February 17, 2022, and the new episodes will be split into two volumes:
- Volume 1 arrives on May 25, 2022
- Volume 2 arrives on July 1, 2022
Stranger Things 4 will feature the well-known Hawkins gang -- who are all grown up and very different from the ones we met in the first season.
Although the end of the third season of
Stranger Things hinted that the series was leaving for its end, it will continue after the fourth season, which will not be the last, but the penultimate.
On the same day that the premiere date of
Stranger Things 4 was revealed, the Duffer Brothers, in an open letter to fans, stated that the series would end in season 5.
