2022 NEW Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse Statue Funko Pop! Deluxe

Wish upon a star with the new Funko Pop! Deluxe: ”Partners” Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse Statue Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure – Disney Parks Exclusive, depicting the famous ”Hub” statue from the Disney Parks in a magnificent tribute to The Showman of the World and his most famous creation.

You may have already seen the famous “Partners” statue, either visiting a Disney park or in photos.

The bronze statue “Partners” is a tribute and depicts Walt Disney holding the hand of his most famous creation, Mickey Mouse. It was created by Disney artist, animator, and sculptor Blaine Gibson.

The first statue was the one at Anaheim Disneyland in California, and it stands in front of Cinderella Castle in Central Plaza. On November 18, 1993, its unveiling ceremony was on Mickey’s 65th birthday.

”Partners” Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse Statue Funko Pop! Deluxe is an unconfirmed release. It is only official when or if Funko announces it. I’ll update more information in the long run.

Since the unveiling of the first statue, it has been reproduced in other parks and places, such as:

• Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World Resort, in June 1995;
• Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Resort, in April 1998;
• Disney Studios, Walt Disney Studios, Burbank in California, in December 2001;
• Walt Disney Studios Park, Disneyland Paris, in March 2002.

The plaque below the Disneyland California statue quotes the following words of Walt Disney:

“I think most of all what I want Disneyland to be is a happy place…where parents and children can have fun…together.”

Meanwhile, the Magic Kingdom park statue sign reads,

“We believe in our idea: a family park where parents and children could have fun together.”
