NYCC 2021: New Lilo & Stitch – Stitch in Rollers Funko Pop!

The Funko Pop! Disney: Lilo and Stitch – Stitch in Rollers Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure is a Funko Virtual Con NYCC 2021 – BoxLunch Shared Exclusive and will be available at Funko Shop on  October 7th, 2021 at 9 am PT and at shared retailers on October 8th at 6 am PST.

In 2002, the feature film Lilo & Stitch came into our lives, a science fiction adventure that taught us the meaning of Ohana. A word that many of us carry with fire in our hearts.

Created by Jumba Jookiba and adopted by Lilo Pelekai, Stitch is an alien and also a dog, depending on who you ask. A dog with four arms and antennae. Although he was created to destroy everything, Stitch learned the values of friendship and family and became a great adventure companion.

Looking at that adorable little face, I would never have thought that Stitch was capable of such destruction. In fact, I think it’s the perfect thing to add to any collection. As long as you don’t take too many flash pictures!

Lilo used the teachings and songs of Elvis Presley to train Stitch, who managed to look as handsome as the King of Rock and Roll. Lilo & Stitch, the first adventure starring the character, has more Elvis songs than Presley’s own films, of which there are many.

Stitch is a character created by Chris Sanders, one of the film’s two directors who also voiced the character in almost all of his appearances. The other director is Dean DeBlois, none other than the screenwriter of Mulan and one of the animators of The Lion King and Atlantis.

In 2022 it will be 20 years since the release of Lilo & Stitch, and the blue koala-like alien has already starred in several more movies, TV series, and even several video games with other famous Disney characters.
