Eugene “Flash” Thompson was a bully at Midtown College, where he studied with Peter Parker. Inspired by the spectacular Spider-Man, he joined the army. After fighting in the war in Iraq where he lost both legs during a fight, the Flash returned to the United States and participated in a special operation for the federal government that offered him the opportunity to serve the country again, giving him a uniform made up of an alien symbiont, Venom, which gives him similar powers to Spider-Man. He begins to act as a special agent for the American Armed Forces by granting his legs back, strength, and superhuman resistance. However, to not be possessed by the symbiont, Flash only “uses” him during his missions. As he always admired Spider-Man, his uniform is similar to Black Spider’s, only with military equipment.

After joining the Thunderbolts, the symbiote begins to gain more control. It influences Flash into eating people and causing him to become disenchanted. Funko brings us Flash directly from his time in the Thunderbolts. The Funko Pop!
