Eastbound & Down is a comedy that tells the life of Kenny Powers, a former baseball player who was going to dominate in the Major Leagues. Still, two things interfered: his fastball’s weakening and intolerable personality. The baseball player crossed his peak but still finds himself a winner in sports and life. Kenny now returns to his homeland in the South to be a gym teacher… Comic actor Danny McBride produces, writes, and stars in the program.
