SDCC 2022: Jujutsu Kaisen – Yuji Itadori w/ Slaughter Funko Pop!

The Slaughter Demon is a cursed dagger that non-sorcerers can use to exorcise curses. Satoru Gojo gave it to Yuji as a way for the young man to fend off curses on his first field test. And let me tell you, that field test was a doozy!

With the power of the cursed energy flowing through him, Yuji was able to cut off the arm of another curse and free a hostage in one fell swoop. It was an impressive display of strength and skill, and Gojo was suitably impressed.

Plus, it’s just really cool-looking. I mean, who wouldn’t want a dagger imbued with cursed energy? It’s like something out of an anime! Oops… it’s!

In any case, Slaughter Demon is definitely a unique and special weapon, and Yuji was lucky to have it.

In Jujutsu Kaisen, we meet Yuji Itadori in high school. The young man has a good heart and exceptional athletic skills. He is strong and fast in the extreme!

Everything seemed normal in his life until his high school occult club found Sukuna’s finger.

This object is cursed and attracts curses. It is in this context that his school and his friends are attacked.

Desperate to save everyone, Itadori swallows the finger and gains cursed energy (a kind of Chakra in anime). With the new power, he is able to destroy his enemies.

The problem is that he becomes the host of Sukuna and is thus doomed to death by the wizards. But they also decide to postpone the sentence until Yuuji has eaten all 20 of Sukuna’s fingers…
