Netflix today released a new Stranger Things Season 4 teaser trailer full of previously unseen scenes, revealing Eleven in the hands of the enemy, as well as Hopper’s return. The teaser also reveals that the series will only return in 2022.
In a recent interview, director Shaw Levy said that the premiere date for the new episodes would be announced by August 13. However, it is not yet known if he was talking about a prediction or if it will be the exact day of the reveal.
It shows several scenes from previous seasons, but in the final seconds brings several quick and unseen scenes from the series. Among them, we can see Eleven with what appear to be government agents, Hopper using a flamethrower, and even the group of the young people now much grown up.
The third season of the series ended in a very emotional way. With everyone thinking Hopper is dead, Joyce, Will, and Jonathan deciding to move out of town and leaving Hawkins, along with Eleven, who is now under Joyce’s guardianship.
Stranger Things has gained worldwide popularity since its first season. Thus, it became one of the favorite series of the public and Netflix users. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the fourth season was delayed quite a bit. However, we now know the cast and crew are already working on it.
