Venom 3? Tom Hardy Comments on a Venom Spider-Man Crossover

Venom 3 Tom Hardy Comments on a Venom Spider-Man Crossove

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is one of the most anticipated releases in theaters for several reasons. The first film was successful, surprising everyone who didn’t put much faith in the symbiote production.

In addition, Tom Hardy‘s success was such that the actor would return for a sequel and is already discussing the possibility of a third chapter for the franchise.

Venom 2‘s director Andy Serkis has already revealed that the Sonyverse is expanding, and the sequel will follow Eddie Brock as he adapts to the new life form that has taken over his body.

Woody Harrelson‘s villain has also been hotly anticipated, as he made a big splash in the trailers. He was last seen in the extra scene of the first Venom, but nothing compares to the moments we saw in the videos released by Marvel Studios.

More information about the script is being kept under wraps. After all, Marvel and Sony have never been known to reveal surprises ahead of time. But, recently, Daniel Espinosa, the director of Morbius, gave a possible spoiler of things to come, indicating that Tom Hardy is expected to appear in the film of Spider-Man’s vampire enemy.

In addition to Hardy’s new information in Jared Letto‘s film, a new rumor points to a possible sequel in the form of a trilogy. In an interview with Esquire, Tom Hardy revealed that he is already working on the third film.

“I’m thinking about the third movie as well because I think you need to write that at the same time. A third won’t be green-lit until the second is successful, but the studio [was] really, really pleased with number two.”

The site also pointed out that Hardy received credit for the film’s script and is also working as a producer on Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Tom took the opportunity to comment that he is never alone in acting, that he always seeks to get involved as a producer in the projects in which he participates.

“I’ve got to be careful how I speak because I’m a studio man. I’m an exec! Believe it or not”

About Spider-Man’s presence in a future Venom 3, the star commented:

“I hope and strongly, with both hands, push, eagerly, towards that potential, and would do anything to make that happen, within what’s right in business. But it would be foolish not to head towards the Olympic Games if you were running 100 meters, so yeah! I want to play on that field.”

Venom: Let There Be Carnage was scheduled for September 24, 2021, in North American theaters, but it is rumored to be delayed again.
