A princess is cursed by an evil fairy, sticks her finger in a spinning wheel, and falls into a deep sleep. The only way to wake up is with a kiss of true love. The Disney film is a classic fairy tale.
In fairy tales, the premise is that the princess character is always in the spotlight and that the story is delineated by her actions and personality. However, in the Disney film, Aurora only appears for 18 minutes.
Precisely because she only appears for 18 minutes, Aurora "owns" the silver medal in the ranking of the characters who speak the least in the studio's history.

It only loses out to the 1941 version of Dumbo since the elephant didn't speak at all. Aurora lets out her first sentence at 19 minutes into the film and then returns at the end. In the meantime, she sings two songs.
One of the most striking scenes in the animation is the fight between the fairies Flora and Primavera to decide the color of the princess's dress.
This story is practically a true story. The animators argued about the color of the dress and could not reach a consensus. The result was to put the joke into animation.
