Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is the next film in Akira Toriyama’s franchise, and the design of some characters has already been revealed, such as Piccolo.
During Comic-Con@Home, several character designs were revealed, within which we have Piccolo with subtle changes in his look compared to the costumes he wore in Dragon Ball Super. Something that denotes the character’s maturity, now a veteran warrior, although still in top shape.
The main detail is the color of his muscles, now yellowish, like most of the elders of his race. Piccolo also appears with a belt of a different color, and his boots now have a rounded shape, in contrast to the old spikes.

Although small, these changes have a special meaning for fans: Piccolo’s “new” look is much closer to the Dragon Ball anime, created by Akira Toriyama.
The new film promises to be a milestone for the franchise. Goku appears with animation made entirely on CGI in the already released teaser, something unheard of until now.
There are still no details revealed about the film’s story.
