In the fantastic world of comics, there are many heroes with superhuman or extraterrestrial abilities who arrive on Earth to fight crime.

However, there is also Tony Stark, a billionaire womanizer with a taste for drink, adrenaline, and invention, who created his own superpower through highly advanced armor.

The first version of Iron Man was created in Afghanistan with Yinsen’s help so that he and Tony could escape from their captivity. When he finally arrived home, Tony Stark began improving his armor using the vast resources of his old weapons factory.

Since then, Tony has created many different armors, all used for his heroic deeds. In the comics, it first appeared in The Invincible Iron Man Volume 1, #85 (April 1976), created by Tony Stark shortly after the previous model was damaged beyond repair battling The Freak.

In the MCU, it was built between Iron Man 1 and 2 events and used in international conflicts and much in Tony Stark’s second solo film.
